SILK ROAD: A FIRST ATTEMPT

Cycling Adventures and Setbacks

CYCLING the WORLD

I'm a French Canadian who is avid on adventure and intensity. In my eyes, life is a human experience, and I want to make the most of it.

for some, cycling means freedom

 for me, freedom is cycling

the IDEA

I aim to know the world, explore and discover continuously, and keep any routine far away. With this website, I want to share my experiences like many other riders do and maybe inspire a few!

My projects include the Americas (Alaska to Patagonia), Europe and Asia, and some less-known territories.

Life is like riding a bicycle.

To keep your balance, you must keep moving.

At Tioga Pass, I met a French Canadian guy; when he heard about my trip, he told me, «Enjoy it; it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.»

Now that I think about it,

I hope he was wrong.

the STORY

I was born in Quebec City on Canada's French side to a Brazilian father and a french Canadian mother. After spending many years around Montreal, my family moved to a tiny town in southeast Brazil called Cunha. I also spent lots of time in Paraguay with my grandfather and in New Zealand for studies. I am studying chemical engineering, and I wish to apply my knowledge to heavy industrial processes later to improve their environmental performance.

Life is like a book; those who do not travel only read a page.
