Knowledge is an essential part of cycling (and everything in general). If you want a comfortable trip, sometimes it's nice to have some advice. Two ways to learn. Either by experience or reading. But planning too much can spoil a trip (especially regarding routes and activities)!

I believe in the equilibrium between both:

read so you can enjoy learning from any experience.

With incredible pictures, Mark and Lwe know how to show what's out there. They also made significant contribution with routes (available on bikepacking.com). I have great respect for their incredible adventures.
